Making Plain Text Look Good
At the beginning of March, I published a posting about whether you need plain text or not. It turns out that having a well written plain text newsletter can increase your delivery by not making your email look spam and, also, increasing your readership.
But is there a way to make plain text look pretty? AWeber’s blog had a posting about how to create a great looking header for your plain-text newsletter. The post talks about using dividers above and below your newsletter’s header information.
It is important to note that you don’t want to create a box because character widths may vary depending on the default font of an email client.
