How do you get your newsletter to your subscribers at the ideal time when they are located all over the world? It is afternoon in Europe when it is morning here in the states.
With certain Email Services such as AWeber, you can splice up your list and set different times to send your newsletter depending on the location of the subscriber.
How do you capture the location?
There are two methods for capturing the location of a subscriber. You can have them fill out the country and state they live in. This is the most accurate way of getting the information, however, you may lose subscribers since many people are leary of forms that ask for a lot of information.
Another method is to capture their IP Address when they register. Some email services like AWeber do this automatically so they can give you an analysis of where your subscribers are located.
Capturing the IP Address is not accurate down to the locale as it depends on which Internet Service Provider (ISP) they use. However, you can make assumptions as to general geographic area where the subscriber is located at by their IP address - such as Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Australia.
How do you send the email at different times?
Being able to launch your newsletter at different times of the day depends on your email service. in AWeber, you can create categories such as Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia. You can then setup to the newsletter to publish at different times for the different groups.

Is delivery time important?
Yes. How many of your friends and relatives have you heard complaining about how much email or spam they get? The success of your newsletter depends on how many people actually open the email and read it.
If you deliver your email at midnight, it will not be at the top of the list of new emails someone sees when they come in at work.
Many businesses do not need to parse their subscribers by geography because they have a localized clientele. In this case, you just need to publish your newsletter so that it comes at the ideal time to your client’s inbox.
