Work/Life

Startup Nation released an article in this week’s newsletter about how to incorporate exercise with your work life.

Outrunning the Tiger-How to Make Physical Fitness a Business Asset” highlights several ways to include exercise in your daily life.

  • Move your office to walking distance from your home.
  • Walk around the airport while you wait for flights.
  • Schedule exercise like any other meeting.
  • Park as far away from your office building as possible.
  • Workout first thing in the morning and you will be more likely to do it.
  • Spend half your lunch hour walking.

What methods do you use to incorporate exercise into your work day?

Do you snack while you are on the computer or on the phone?  RealAge’s Tip of the Day for March 20th stated that you tend to overeat more when you eat while you are distracted.  Because you are doing other things at the same time, your appetite-suppressant mechanism is turned off.

According to a study released by AMA, there are very few moms who don’t have it.

Think you would have less if you stayed at home?  The study shows that stay-at-home moms have just as much guilt.  =-)
